The blue-ringed octopus is a creature to behold. Illuminating the seas of Australia’s southern coast, this underwater animal has both beauty and brains.
After hiding unsuspectingly between crevices during the day, it comes alive at nighttime: subduing small fish and crabs, poisoning them with venom and mutilating them, before they are eaten.
