Although the beloved game features a mixture of ghosts, cults, and mysterious lore, Sally Face has a lot to unpack regarding its psychological themes and how trauma is addressed. In this video, I cover the themes present in each of the main characters (plus some extras), and look at the effects a strong emotional support system has on these characters.
Sally Face is an episodic psychological horror adventure game about a boy with a prosthetic mask and a mysterious past. With each episode released between 2016-2019, the story chronicles Sal as he recounts his adventures of solving local murders with his friends. But what happened in the years since then?
