It costs a lot of Ethereum to end stake your Hex. I had several two-year-old stakes ending and it cost me around $2000 to unstake them all and that's with all the optimizations that I made. I could have easily paid even more than that if I didn't follow the tips that I share in this video.
I guess one last tip that I didn't talk about in the video was patience. As you do have 14 days to end your stakes and if I have ended all my stakes this weekend instead of the previous one I would have saved at least several more hundred dollars, but you can't really predict the future and the gas fees can differ from one weekend to another in any direction.
