In this video, we sat down with Chris Smallen, Chief Technology Officer of Lenoir City Schools to learn what the biggest concern is with technology in K-12 schools. As technology integration continues to grow in K-12 education, challenges and concerns surrounding these technologies make their way into K-12 technology teams. Chris Smallen explained that for K-12 Technology Administrators like himself, the biggest concern is making sure that technology is functioning in the classroom. Technology in the classroom has to actually work on a functional level, and also work on an instructional level to enhance lessons. Above all else, Chris explained that K-12 classroom technology has to be easy and dependable for technology teams and teachers. The punch line?
