We hear a lot about "Manipulated Media" and "Doctored Images" in the news today. TinEye is a free tool for analyzing where an image (or other similar images) have shown up elsewhere on the Internet. You can better protect yourself against "fake news" if you learn how to explore the origins of the media you consume.
Remember: often times you can make a guess about the veracity of an image by evaluating its source. News websites *may* be a more trusted source of content than, say, social media, or a personal blog. Places with editorial standards are more trustworthy than places with none.
