Giuseppe Di Pellegrino focuses his research on the psychological and neurobiological mechanisms underlying cognitive and affective control of behavior, and their disturbance in neurological patients. The main goal of his laboratory is to investigate how the interplay between thought and feeling shapes one’s decision-making processes, both at the individual and social level. During the conference "The Normative Mind. Normative Dimensions of Decision-Making" organized by Copernicus Center for Interdisciplinary Studies Professor Di Pellegrino was asked about the limits of explanation within the field of neuroscience.
