To promote the new Disney Afternoon and it’s starting lineup, this music video aired in the early 90s. Looking back, I clearly remember it and was a fan of the First Look tune which sadly did not make an appearance on the later Disney Afternoon soundtrack release.

The highest quality source of the file featured a couple audio gaps. Simply chopping them out and merging the parts back together threw off the tempo, so I edited in existing pieces from the tune beneath the holes then restored the beat. A clip from the later Disney Afternoon programming block intro was inserted to allow the tune and video to sync back up to what originally aired.

It’s a 32 year-old promo and we’re lucky to have any version of it online, but the source video looks as if it were not de-interlaced before conversion. As such, the artifacts cannot be improved upon, but AI software can provide a slight bump in definition and noise reduction.

After running the video through enhancement software, this may be our best quality archive of the release until an official one is made by Disney, though that prospect remains unlikely. Restored to its original 4x3 aspect ratio as seen on NTSC televisions.
