Federal funding is helping communities across the country reduce wildfire risk to residents.

In Lake County, California, Clearlake Environmental Research Center and the Hogback Ridge Fuels crew is already in action getting the work done. The crew is in part funded by a recent USDA Forest Service Community Wildfire Defense Grant and is being used to fund fuels reduction work in and around communities of Lake County.
