Satabdi Park is a park arena and recreational zone around town in Asansol known for providing replenishing quality time to families.
Well connected through proximity to the GT road, this park has entertainment facilities in the form of amusement park rides like carousels for children.
People spend more than a couple of hours here, and it is generally well liked by tourists who go on to multiplexes, movie halls or shopping sites nearby afterwards.

Named after the Super Fast Train Shatabdi Express, Satabdi Park was developed and is maintained by The Indian Railways. The park features a number of attractions and has a substantial amount of greenery and a number of flowering plants which makes it a pleasant spot for hanging out on a Day off.


Satabdi Park, being located around the city is a go-to spot for families on Holidays and in Evenings to get a break from the non stopping city life without having to go to a very far off place.
Restaurants and various stalls are available selling various kinds of refreshments and snacks. For tourists or people visiting Asansol on Vacations, near by places like The Nehru Park, Churulia, Kalyaneswari Temple, Maithon Dam, Panchet Dam and Joychandi Pahar all lies in the viscinity for them to explore.


Evenings are very pleasant to spend time in the Satabdi Park, Month of September is advised to visit the Park as the temperature is neither hot nor cold and the rich greenery in the Park makes the environment of the park very pleasant.
There are a number of transportation facility available, from hired cars to auto and rickshaws, one can get to the Park from the city very comfortably. The Park administration charges no entry fee and is free for anyone who desires to spend time here.
It is advised to visit the park during evenings to get the full flavour of it. Satabdi Park can be visited during timings 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM on all days of the week.
