Freeform is a new visual brainstorming app from Apple that is available on Mac, iPad, and iPhone. You can sync up any projects you create on Freeform across your apple devices.
I’ll show you exactly how to use Freeform on Mac and how to create your first project.
If you like to organize your ideas and thoughts visually, this is the app for you. I’ll show you an example of how I’ve personally used this app so far. I’ll also show you a couple of advanced options that are hard to find but are very useful. Let’s get started.
Installing Freeform
Freeform was released with Ventura 13.1 and iOS 16.2 on iPhone and iPad. On your Mac, you just have to update your OS. You actually don’t have to download the app. It will appear on your device.
You can search and open Freeform. If you want to sync up freeform between your Mac and iPhone or iPad, make sure to activate that option in iCloud via the settings menu.
