In this Light Painting Tutorial, Jason Rinehart shows you how to light paint a Spiral using tools from Light Painting Brushes and Coast Flashlights.
Camera setting were:
ISO 400
F8
Shooting on Bulb Mode. The exposure for the image in this tutorial was just under 90 seconds. If your camera is not capable of a exposure that long then you just have to adjust your speed accordingly. You can create a very similar spiral shape in 30 or even 15 seconds.
