For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a radical 1923 Ford T-Bucket. This is a reconstructed vehicle, and is titled as a 1986 Reconstructed T Bucket. Options for this 1923 Ford T-Bucket include: Leather Interior, Wire Wheels, and Goodyear Blue Streak Racing Tires. Powering this T-Bucket is a 350 CID V8 engine with a 671 Blower and dual 625 CFM carburetors. A TH400 automatic transmission sends the power to the Ford 9" rear end and the massive 27X13.5-15 Goodyear Blue Streak racing tires. This unique T-Bucket was built in 1986 in Arizona, and features custom paint work by Denny Bloom. With the wild engine setup and custom paint, this is a hard car to forget, and will certainly get people talking at your local show. A typical T-Bucket has the 2-seater body of a Model T roadster. The "bucket" shaped body is where the name T-Bucket comes from. If there is a windshield, it is mounted vertically, like the original Model T. The T-Bucket that started it all was a T-Bucket created by Norm Grabowski in the 1950's for a TV show called 77 Sunset Strip. The car's name on the show was Lightning Bug, it was driven by the character Gerald "Kookie" Kookson, and became better known as the Kookie Kar. The airtime the car received led to countless imitations being produced.
