A multi-million rand waste management project has ground to a halt, due to political and administrative instability in the coalition-led Thabazimbi local municipality in Limpopo. The R106-million project has been at a standstill for about four months. There are currently two parallel municipal councils, with two separate mayors, speakers and municipal managers at the municipality.
