Cherry is my 1929 Ford, she starts right up pretty well so far seemingly no matter the temperature. At the time of filming it's 10 degrees F after a night around 5. This is sort of a rough car, but it is all original, including her original engine! (the engine is quite worn, it uses a lot of oil and has a lot of blowby... but it runs well ~ it's never fouled a plug)
I'll go over more about this car in the future. One thing I do keep top notch in this car is the ignition system, which helps a great deal on cold mornings. In the past, when I had Model A's, I definitely noticed that when it was *really* cold, the starter motor would use so much current from the battery that the spark would be weak. So, on very cold mornings crank starting is often preferable.
