╔ Layla Hybrid Mattress ╗

The Layla Hybrid is a flippable mattress constructed with memory foam comfort layers and a pocketed coil support core. Copper-infused foam reduces heat buildup on both sleep surfaces. One side of the bed has a medium feel and conforms somewhat closely, while the other surface feels firmer and more supportive.

The cover is made from a blend of polyester, viscose, and spandex. Both lengthwise sides of the cover are equipped with sturdy handles made of thermoplastic polyurethane.

As a flippable mattress, the Layla Hybrid offers two distinct firmness options. The ‘Soft’ side has a medium feel, which corresponds to a 5 on the 1-10 firmness scale. This side conforms rather closely to cradle the sleeper’s body while offering some responsiveness from the coils as well. The ‘Soft’ side feels like sleeping “on” as well as sleeping “in” the mattress at the same time.

The ‘Firm’ side has a firmness of 7, and does not conform as closely, although the foam provides strong support for sleepers, especially those who weigh at least 230 pounds. This side offers a more responsive, sleeping “on” sensation.

Since the Layla Hybrid is flippable, and therefore offers two firmness options, the type of support it provides depends on your bodyweight.

Lightweight sleepers will prefer the ‘Soft’ side because they’ll sink more deeply into the mattress, however, lightweight sleepers may not feel as comfortable on the ‘firm’ side because firmer models don’t contour as closely.

For average weight sleepers, both the ‘Soft’ and ‘Firm’ side offer different benefits. The ‘Soft’ side will provide more pressure relief due to its medium-level firmness and deeper contouring, however the ‘Firm’ side will feel significantly more comfortable for stomach sleepers because it will keep their bodies on an even plane.
