I reload every couple months, perhaps sooner if I'm doing more sharpening.

I wipe down the leather top with paper a dry paper towel until the the towel wipes clean.

I prefer frosted top, some like a misted top. Play around and see what you like.

Strops are back in stock.

Highly recommend getting a strop and compound if you've never tried one.
