Epcot is looking to kick off 2023 with an absolute banger in the Epcot International Festival of the Arts. This festival is a celebration of the visual, culinary, and performing arts, and this year the celebration is the biggest that we have seen it in years.

Welcome back to the bear's den. This week we are simply talking through what we can expect at this year's Epcot International Festival of the Arts.

Let them Eat Art!
First let's talk about the culinary arts, meaning what are you going to find to eat at Festival of the Arts? This year's festival is going to see a total of 16 unique Food Studios featuring art-inspired cuisine, including two new Food Studios, one of which I am very excited about in Figment's Inspiration Station at the Odyssey.

Magical Music Takes Center Stage
This year will see the return of the Disney Broadway series with performances some some of Broadway's biggest stars performing songs from more than 25 years of award-winning Disney On Broadway stage productions.


Disney and Visiting Artists
This year over 100 Disney and visiting artists will showcase their works of art during the festival. This is one of my favorite parts of this festival because not only does epcot become a giant art gallery with incredible work from incredible artists. But the artists are also there for you to meet and interact with, and learn more about their art.

Show off Your Artistic Side
But it is not just the artists, performers, and chefs that get to display their works at this festival. We as guests to to join in and show off our artistic sides in a lot of different ways.

You can learn how to draw a disney character from an animation artist at the Animation Academy. Or you can leave your mark the massive mural at the Expression Section. You can even step into the art with artistic backdrops with different art inspired photo spots.
