Though most of us get used to shopping luxury goods in stores, luxury e-commerce platforms are thriving especially during the pandemic period. The market becomes more and more competitive with big players, trying out new approaches to win the market share. In August 2022, Richemont initiated the deal to trade Yoox Net-a-porter Group to its rival Farfetch due to its mismanagement causing enormous losses. This signalised that luxury e-commerce players need to find their USP as well as business model to sustain the business.
