On 5 June 2001, Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts sat down with ITN's Gaby Rado and gave a rare extended interview. Watts was promoting his two-week residency at London's Ronnie Scott's with his jazz band, discussing jazz, turning sixty, and life inside the greatest rock and roll band in the world.
Two years on from Watts' death aged 80, the Rolling Stones are set to release their first album of original songs in 18 years, following their 2005 release A Bigger Bang with 2023's much anticipated Hackney Diamonds.
