MTA New York City Subway: Kawasaki R211A # 4060-4069 doing burn in testing on the A line making a simulated stop at 34th Street-Penn Station
Burn-in testing is when a new train makes simulated stops (opening the doors on the opposite side of the platform) along a particular train line with the train properly signed up for said route. This made a round trip on the A line from Euclid Avenue to 207th Street, making simulated stops along the line. The R211s are supposed to start regular passenger service in the coming weeks.
