Protestors have gathered in Edinburgh to rally against King Charles during his Scottish coronation.

Republican groups expressed their anger at the lavish ceremony, chanting 'not my King' as the monarch climbed the cathedral steps.

Two anti-monarchist protestors were arrested outside the cathedral for climbing a crowd safety barrier.
