2008 Olympic 50-kilometre race walk champion Alex Schwazer spoke to media after being questioned by the Italian Olympic Committee on Tuesday (30th October) following his exclusion from the 2012 London Games for doping offences:
"I'm disappointed that all of you are here today - because when I won the Olympic title four years ago, there was just a fifth of you and this says everything about what is wrong with sport."
