The pv magazine Roundtables USA 2021 "Solar opportunities in an age of extremes" convened at a time when solar PV enjoys unprecedented support at nearly every level, public and private. Innovation is driving technology advancements, and demand for clean-energy solutions – everything from rooftop PV to utility-scale storage to electric vehicles – has never been higher.
Our solar expert speakers and pv magazine moderators put all of these factors into context, and then went beyond to offer insights into the pivotal role that solar PV and clean energy will play in addressing climate challenges and the economywide push to decarbonize. The event on November 09 was divided into two Roundtables Sessions:
Session 1 | Optimizing systems and hardware to meet environmental and performance challenges (currently watching)
Session 2 | Solar everywhere: What the solar industry needs to accelerate deployment ([ Ссылка ])

Session 1 | Optimizing systems and hardware to meet environmental and performance challenges
Climate change-caused events are increasing operational risks for solar plant owners and operators. At the same time, solar—often paired with energy storage—is playing a greater role in the electric generating mix and making performance optimization a top priority.
