Sarah and Ishan had an absolutely epic wedding at The Fenway Hotel in Dunedin, Florida! The three day celebration brought together around 70 of their closest family and friends, making for quite an intimate event as far as Indian weddings usually go.
While we weren't there for the first night of festivities, things really got going during the Haldi on Friday evening! While traditional Indian food was prepared and served alongside made to order pizzas, Dudha Productions pumped up the jams, setting the stage for some pretty entertaining family dances. And of course the highlight was the guests painting the couple in turmeric paste...followed quickly by the couple rinsing each other off in the poolside shower!
The next morning Sarah and Ishan got ready at the hotel before their first look, where they read one another their personal vows in private. This helped relieve some of the stress before the epic baraat that was held in the hotel's entryway. As Ishan made his unforgettable entrance on a horse, Sarah watched from the rooftop bar several stories above the action.
Shortly thereafter the ceremony was held in the ballroom, which was quickly converted into the reception space afterwards, during which time the guests enjoyed cocktails and small bites in the hotel's restaurant. The festivities continued with one of the most epic first dances we have ever seen, which featured four cold sparkler machines lining the dance floor! A group of Bollywood dancers made a surprise appearance to entertain the couple and their guests before dinner was served. Afterwards the music was cranked up and everyone partied their hearts out in celebration of Sarah and Ishan. Congrats you two!!!
