US and Mexican authorities say troops have seized more than 32 tonnes of marijuana after finding a drug smuggling tunnel linking the two countries.

The 550-metre tunnel stretches between Tijuana and San Diego, and was equipped with electric rail cars.
 
The discovery comes two weeks after authorities found another smuggling tunnel connecting the two cities.
