Mini Crescendo mosfet audio amplifier is a DIY audio amplifier published in 'Elector Electronics' in 1980s. It is based on lateral mosfets from Hitachi. 2SK176 and 2SJ56 are the lateral mosfets used in the output stage of this amplifier. It user BF469 and BF470 transistors in the driver stage.
I made this amplifier in 1992 and the amplifier was working till I dismantled for restoration and upgrade while making this video.
I am restoring it at component level and also adding new modules to make it a complete audiophile grade audio amplifier. I am re-building the power supply section with a toroidal transformer and an audio grade power supply rail.
