He praised his former vice-president and current president Joe Biden before moving on to attack the Republican nominee Donald Trump. Obama brought the crowd to its feet when he described Kamala Harris and Tim Walz as leaders who would care about blue-collar workers. 'Kamala will be that president', he said, after which someone from the crowd yelled out, 'Yes, she can' (a spin on Obama's former campaign slogan). Obama echoed the comment and then chants from the audience could be heard, saying, 'yes, she can!'
