The largest edition of Exercise Pitch Black to date is taking place in Darwin, Australia. The multi-national air combat exercise involves 20 air forces from around the world, including Singapore. More than 4,400 personnel and over 140 aircraft will be participating in this year's iteration. Exercise Pitch Black is hosted by Australia every two years, and Singapore has been a participant since 1990. For three weeks, the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) will take part in exercises such as air-to-air refuelling operations with the A330 Multi-Role Tanker Transport.
