One of the phrases church people love to throw around when it comes to relationships is the idea of not being “equally yoked” to another person in a romantic relationship. This principle comes from a Bible verse in 2 Corinthians where the writer, Paul, tells Christians not to be “unequally or unevenly yoked” to people who are not Christians. Unfortunately there are too many Christian singles today jumping into relationships with other self-professing Christians and wrongly believing that this means they are equally yoked. So in this video I want to discuss what the term “yoked’ means and why many Christians are getting it wrong.
