#FiveFilms4Freedom 2017 will run on 16-26 March 2017. The world's first global, digital LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) short-film programme is brought to you for a third year by the British Council and the British Film Institute (BFI).
From 16 March 2017, audiences in London will be enjoying BFI Flare, the LGBT film festival. At the same time, you and people from all over the world can watch five films from the festival for free online. We'll be announcing the five films soon, as well as the #FiveFilms4Freedom 2017 Global List of Cultural Influencers (a list of individuals promoting LGBT rights through culture).
Lucie Rachel's documentary short 'Where We Are Now' is an intimate and deeply personal portrait of her relationship with her transgender parent.
