The grandmother of the teenager whose death at the hands of Parisian police has sparked violent riots across France has pleaded for an end to the violence.
Nahel M, a 17-year-old of Algerian descent who had been training to be an electrician and played rugby league in his spare time, was shot dead while driving away from a traffic stop.
His death has provoked anger across the country, with riots in a number of major cities, and calls from many to end discrimination among the country's police force.
