Simply the Best is proud to feature some of the West Coast awardees of RBC Top 25 Canadian Immigrants. The RBC Top 25 Canadian Immigrants 2013 were honoured and recognized for their accomplishments and contributions during the Vancouver Awards Ceremony on June 26th at the Royal Bank Building in Vancouver. Held a week later than the Toronto Awards Ceremony, some of the winners of this year's Top 25 Canadian Immigrants include 2 time NBA MVP All-Star Steve Nash, Dancer & Choreographer Wen Wei Wang, and Community Volunteer Leticia La Rosa. Luisa was also honoured to receive the award but most importantly, our Simply the Best team and I had a great time talking to some awardees.
On the Show: Highlights of the celebration of the 5th Annual RBC Top 25 Canadian Immigrant Awards. Special interviews with awardees Wen Wei Chang (China - Dream dancer), Jawahar "Jay" Kalra (India - Doctor and community builder), Zahra Al-Harazi (Yemen - Creative hit), Sara Eftekhar (Iran - Activist at heart), Sing Lim Yeo (Singapore - Realtor with heart), Anar Popatia (Kenya - Engaged leader). Highlights of Luisa's acceptance speech and her Simply the Best performance.
