This is how I process SEC FTD data to extract the FTD's for APE shares ...

It appears that Market Makers are Naked Shorting APE shares - because they cannot find actual APE shares to sell to buyers, and because these shares cannot be found, they are appearing as Fails - to - Deliver.

The volume of naked shorting significantly impacts the price of APE, and suppresses it.

APE prices being suppressed prevents AMC from raising capital (by selling APE shares - as indicated by CEO Adam Aron in his Q2 Earnings Webcast).

So... Market Makers, by Naked Shorting APE shares, and suppressing the price of APE, are preventing AMC from raising capital.
