In this video from his Guitar Scales 101 course, Berklee Online instructor Larry Baione provides tips on playing scales. Starting with the C major scale in second position, he plays each note as a whole note to a metronome and demonstrates how to practice them to each division. By doing so, you learn how to listen as you play and engage with other parts of a musical situation.
