I think that North American Ruddy Ducks, Oxyura jamaicensis are one of the most entertaining ducks to watch. The reason for that is that they dive so frequently. They feed on aquatic invertebrates as well as some plants and plant roots. I hope you enjoy seeing these underwater feeding clips as much as I did taking them. This little duck dove time after time and seems to be eating something on the bottom of the pond in an around the small rocks that liked the bottom.
