Egypt and Russia resumed direct flights between Cairo and Moscow on Thursday after more than two years and a half of suspension.
The first flight bound for Cairo departed from Moscow's Sheremetyevo International Airport in the early hours of Thursday, carrying almost a full load of passengers.
