Hey, guys! Season 3 of Dead To Me is getting released on Netflix on November 17, and it will be the final season. The reason the show is ending is quite heartbreaking. Just when the crew started filming Season 3 last summer, lead actress Christina Applegate, who plays Jen, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. A 5-month production break didn’t do much: MS has no cure and Christina didn’t get better. Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a disease in which the immune system eats away at the protective covering of nerves, and interrupts the flow of information between the brain and the body. She said this to NY Times about that break: “There is no better. But I needed to process my loss of my life, my loss of that part of me.” She was determined to finish the show, and she did, despite needing a wheelchair and gaining 40 pounds. “Acceptance? No. I’m never going to accept this. I’m pissed,” says 50-year old Applegate. Now that the Season 3 trailer is out, Christina bravely discusses her devastating decline in mobility and showcases her walking sticks as her ‘new normal’. Christina’s friend and fellow actress, 50-year old Selma Blair offered all kind of support, as someone who’s been living with MS for 4 years now. Christina also gets support from her husband of 10 years, Dutch bassist, Martyn LeNoble and their 11-year old daughter Sadie. Guys, do you have relatives for friends living with MS?
