🚄 With #RUAS providing a top-tier flight operations team and #Dronecloud delivering cutting-edge software and interoperability, we demonstrated a critical infrastructure use case for railway and transportation departments.
Our Velos V3 rotary-wing aircraft, equipped with an advanced sensor suite and C2 link configuration, preparing to conduct BVLOS flights, showcased its exceptional capabilities in demanding environments. Despite facing advanced weather conditions with gusts up to 30 MPH and intermittent rain 🌧️, the Velos V3 delivered outstanding performance.
Our team operated the aircraft through the Desert Rotor Mira X Ground Control Station (GCS) 💻, seamlessly handing off control via an internet-based link to a remote communications location. This allowed the payload operator to conduct intruder tracking operations live and in real-time, a vital function for security and surveillance of critical infrastructure.
