The chemistry of Crown fuel and whether it's safe for fire spinning and dancing. The verdict? Yes--it's as safe as any other fuel for fire dancing.
Lately a lot of retail outlets here in the United States have been switching over from Coleman to Crown Camp Fuel and there have been a LOT of questions as to whether Crown is as safe as Coleman. I did my own research as well as consulting some Chemists and the answer I got is that despite the addition of a chemical called toluene that is toxic in large doses, there isn’t enough of it in Crown fuel to pose a problem.
