Hello guys. In this video, I bring to you a very nice city walk (Virtual Walking Tour) to check the Christmas lights in some of the famous streets here in Berlin, the Kurfürstendamm and Friedrichstraße. This walk was made one day before the second lockdown here in the city. The streets were full of people shopping at the last minute for Christmas.

Kurfürstendamm is maybe the most famous street in Berlin for shopping. There you can find The Kaufhaus des Westens, or just KaDeWe. KaDeWe is a department store in Berlin. With over 60,000 square meters of retail space and more than 380,000 articles available, it is the second-largest department store in Europe after Harrods in London. It attracts 40,000 to 50,000 visitors every day. As every year, this street is where we find one of the most beautiful Christmas lights and decorations in Berlin.

Besides KaDeWe, you can find many famous brand stores like Adidas, Nike, Lego, Apple, Zara, UNIQLO, H&M, among others.

We also took a short walk at Friedrichstraße. Another famous street for shopping and where the Christmas lights are wonderful. There as well we find small tents that are selling special products and some local food. As we did not have the Christmas market this year, the small tents were set up in some places in the city.
