The PWA World Cup in Sylt in Germany is one of the highlights towards the end of the season and every rider is happy to return to its beaches as it normally provides gnarly conditions. Unfortunately, this year was different. The wind only was strong enough to have one slalom elimination but no freestyle or wave competition. The organizers kept the riders busy with SUP team competitions. But the highlights of the event were the freestyle tow-in shows where the JP riders did extremely well – especially Amado Vrieswijk NB-20, Julien Mas F-7 and Steven van Broeckhoven B-72.
