Want to get that beautiful Restoration Hardware painted look? It's easier than you think to do it yourself! Watch this tutorial to learn how to create a Restoration Hardware Look with Fusion Mineral Paint Stain & Finishing Oil!
Jennylyn is here to show you two super easy techniques to create a Restoration Hardware look with Fusion Mineral Paint. Both of these techniques require zero sanding and only two steps! The first is a rustic wood aged look and the second is a white wash finish.
For the rustic aged wood, Jennylyn starts with a base of Champlain. Champlain is a medium neutral off white. Then Jennylyn brings in the magic - Cappuccino Stain & Finishing Oil! This colour is a warm, rich brown colour. To apply, use the dry brush technique. You want to have very little on your brush and gently drag the brush across your surface. This highlights and accents the very slightly raised wood grain. Try to start at one end and go all the way to the other in order to avoid start and stop marks. Jennylyn also shows you what it looks like when you blend the SFO
- a much more solid finish.
For the white wash, Jennylyn starts with a Sterling grey base. She uses white Stain and Finishing Oil and brushes it on for a solid application. Then she removes the excess with a lint free rag. This technique gives a beautiful sun-kissed look, very subtle.
Fusion Mineral Paint Stain and Finishing Oil is a super durable product that can even be used on your kitchen table and floors!
