Lismore is called the "Rainbow Region" because of how diverse the culture is, the sense of community and love for nature. In this video we talk a brief walk down some back streets to explore amazing murals by local artists. I really like this art walk. Speaking with some locals and they told me it's a pretty new thing that hopes to bring more foot traffic to local shops. The murals are kind of tucked off in my opinion and one could easily pass through town and not experience these gems. If you are ever in Lismore, check them out. As an Black American I found the locals were pleasant, helpful and welcoming. I enjoyed my time there and will definitely go back. Grab a meat pie or a Ruben sandwich if you get hungry.
