In case you forgot, Ed Sheeran co-wrote Justin Bieber’s Purpose song “Love Yourself”. Last night Ed was a special guest at East Anglia Children’s Hospice fundraiser where he performed an acoustic 40 minute set. The singer took this opportunity to finallllly cover Justin’s song, and showed us how he would have sang it.
Yup, Ed changed the lyrics “love yourself” to “f*ck yourself”, but only in his final line. Regardless, we’re not so sure a charity event was the appropriate setting to display the clevver lyrics.
Ed reportedly also changed the word “walls” to “balls” in this line singing, “Was I a fool to let you break down my balls?”
He kept the jokes going and made sure to address that recent sword incident with Princess Beatrice teasing QUOTE, “It’s nice to be back. I’ve had a whole year off. I went to Japan for about a month and hung out with Japanese people. Got my face cut open, anyone read about that?”
