Hello everybody, this is Jeff at trailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Blazer low profile magnet mount LED warning beacon. Now this is a nice low profile warning beacon that'll alert other drivers and pedestrians of the presence of your service vehicle. When this is turned on, it gives you about 123 flashes per minute, gives you a full 360 degrees of lighting. So it is ideal for towing, plowing, transportation, warehouse and even agricultural applications. Now this warning light can also be used to identify stationary safety hazards.
Does use a nice tough polycarbonate lens which is impact resistant. Has an IP67 rating for protection against dust and moisture. The power cord right here is designed to plug into your vehicle's 12 volt power outlet. And you notice it has the control switches located on the power cord so that you can operate the light from inside your vehicle. Does have separate switches for the power and for the pattern selection.
Now I am gonna show you how this operates. We're gonna plug this into some power to show you the lights and how bright they are. First one, I'll mention a few things on it. They do use a non-scratch magnetic base on it. It'll help you secure it to your vehicle's roof.
So just to demonstrate that, you can see there's your piece of metal and you can see how that attaches, holds it either way very strong pull to it. To get it off, sometimes I almost have to slide it 'cause it's such a strong pull. But again, just to show you attaches pretty firmly. And what's nice about that, since it's a magnetic base the unit can be quickly mounted, repositioned or removed for storage when not in use. Now the demo, I do wanna plug this in some 12 volt power.
So I do have, you can see a 12 volt power socket here. So we go ahead and plug that in. And with it plugged in, you can see the two switches. The one switch has a red light on it that's your on and off switch. So you can see when you push that, that red light will come on to let you know that it's operating. Right now you can see it's in the switch over here to change your pattern. So right now you can see it's in a standard amber pattern. I'm gonna go ahead and turn the lights off and it's just a steady pattern. So if you push the switch once more and you can see it's giving your flashing amber pattern. And the third one is a faster pulsating amber pattern. Fourth one sort of pulsating, rotates all the way around and there's your fifth one, it's rotating. You can see your sixth one goes the opposite way. And again, it's all gonna be an amber light. There's your seventh one, very bright quick flash and there's your last eighth one. And then when you hit it again, it's gonna be that's when we started at the solid amber pattern. So it gives you eight different flash pattern. You just select which one works best for your environment and conditions. Go ahead and turn back on overhead lights, go ahead and turn off our power. A few dimensions on this, I wanna measure the base for you. The diameter on the base, one side to the other is right at six inches. The height, it is a low profile so the overall height, three inches. And then the power cord, you can see it is a coil pile power cord and it can be extended out. It'll go out to about 12 feet in length. But that should do it for the review on this Blazer low profile magnet mount LED warning beacon.
