The Launch of Discovery, STS-131 at 6:31 am on April 5, 2010. What a nice site on a very pretty morning. IMHO, we can not afford to close NASA or retire the shuttle. Why don't we have a replacment already? Somebody should have started creating and designing another vehicle 10 or 15 years ago...makes you wonder. After Discovery jetisoned the SRB's the whole ground started shaking along with a loud rumbling noise. We are in Orlando..it could have been a shock wave...? Lest's see what the president has to say about NASA April 14th on his visit to Kennedy Space Center. BTW, if you get a chance to visit KSC...do it...the Saturn Rocket display is worth the price of admission...absolutley AWESOME!!!
