Ruckus ensued at the Municipal Corporation of Delhi *MCD) house session late on Monday evening. Newly-elected Delhi Mayor Shelly Oberoi claimed that a Bharatiya Janata Party Councillor even tried to "attack" her. Taking note of the allegations, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said it was "unacceptable".
"During the proceedings of the House, BJP corporator Shikha Rai reached the Mayor and tried to snatch the mic," the Aam Aadmi Party alleged. The party also said it would report the incident to the police.
