Learning a language is a journey and it takes time. As with any challenge, it’s encouraging to see yourself making progress. Sometimes, however, it can be difficult to observe progress with your own language learning.
In this Diplomatic Language Services webinar, we cover the value of self-assessment and specific ways you can measure progress along the proficiency scale. We look at the functions and abilities for each ILR proficiency level, and how you can set clear, achievable goals for moving up the proficiency scale. You’ll be introduced to several tools for
self-assessment, including can-do statements and proficiency guidelines, which you can use for setting goals and measuring progress.
