Jerry and I went to Gatlinburg, Tennessee near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park to walk across the newest Gatlinburg attraction and also the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in North America at the Skybridge Gatlinburg. This bridge spans 680 feet in length and is 140 feet high. It features a glass bottom panel at the center of the bridge. You can reach the bridge by riding the skylift to the top of the mountain. There is also a patio and gift shop which features snacks and beer for sale. This would be a great place to view a sunset of the mountains.
