"Bookings are sharply reduced, and this is forcing us to lower our prices and cut down the number of staff, so business is very tough and uncertain. We expect help from the authorities at (local and regional) levels. We spoke with the tourist board representatives, they agreed that it was impossible to recall a season like this and promised to look for ways to help us, including by declaring a state of natural emergency in ski resorts and other winter tourism sites. We'll see. We are hoping for snow, to salvage what we can of this winter season."

"Right now, when we should be welcoming skiers on our mountain, we have no snow so there is no doubt that our business will falter, that is to be expected. We have had booking cancellations and people consulting the weather forecast. The bookings strongly correlate with the weather forecast."

"Unfortunately, Jahorina is affected this year by one of the cyclically appearing green winters although we were more than prepared and more than happy to welcome a snowy New Year. In early December, in fact, in late November we initiated our snowmaking system, we started making snow, but the temperature constantly shifting from cold to warm had made it impossible to make snow for our ski slopes."
